SLEEK project aims to directly address the needs for Capacity Building in Sierra Leone Higher Education Institutions to develop a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem and the creation of new jobs, by enhancing entrepreneurial teaching and learning in Sierra Leone HEIs. The heart of SLEEK is the Entrepreneurship Academy, which will be established in each SL-HEI and whose main purpose will be to provide training to entrepreneurship educators, as well as outreach and promotion actions. SLEEK activities and working methodology are based on the real needs of the partner country institutions which is reflected by the quality of the consortium. The activities will be carried out in a logical order to obtain the expected specific objectives towards the consolidation of entrepreneurship and employment structures and the implementation of pilot initiatives. SLEEK will also reduce challenges and systemic barriers, which have historically prevented local communities to start an entrepreneurial project, specially market women and girls. The main expected outputs will be achieved through good practices sharing, experience transfer, training for capacity building as well as integrating the business sector in the educational process. Publishable outputs and their subsequent dissemination will provide reference materials and extend the project reach.
