Image MTU papanjai@gmail.com Website The institution, Milton Margai Technical University, was established in 1963 to train teachers for the junior level of secondary education. It was transformed to a polytechnic by an Act of Parliament in 2001 that merged Milton Margai College of Education (MMCE), Freetown Technical Institute (FTI), and Hotel and Tourism Training Centre (HTTC) to form one institution named Milton Margai College of Education and Technology. The institution is now a full-fledged university with six faculties, namely, Business and Management Studies, Education, Engineering, Tourism and Hospitality, Social Sciences, Pure and Applied Sciences. Milton Margai Technical University offers programmes/courses at the following levels; Certificate, National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, Higher Teacher’s Certificate and Degree. The institution has three campuses: Brookfields, Congo Cross and Goderich, each specializing in specific programmes and courses.
